Capt. Satish Raja, Co-Founder of SeaTusker Ship Management Pvt. Ltd., is a highly accomplished Master Mariner with extensive experience in commanding and managing complex vessel operations, including Indian research vessels engaged in offshore, deep-sea, and polar missions. Notably, he commanded the first Indian research vessel to successfully operate in Antarctic waters, marking a significant milestone in Indian marine and scientific expedition history. He has also led Antarctic missions on consecutive voyages, demonstrating exceptional leadership in extreme and high-risk environments.

He brings strong expertise in fleet operations, integrated navigation, dynamic positioning, and scientific equipment deployment, with in-depth familiarity in research vessel configurations, scientific deck operations, winch systems, and mission workflows. His ability to seamlessly integrate navigation, engineering, and scientific requirements ensures safe and efficient execution of multidisciplinary missions.

Capt. Satish Raja has significant experience in ISM compliance, internal and external audits, and safety management systems, ensuring vessels consistently meet international regulatory standards. He is also actively involved in marine training and professional development, delivering practical training programs and mentoring personnel in safety, compliance, and operational excellence within the marine industry.

In his leadership role, he contributes to operational risk management, emergency preparedness, and mission continuity planning, ensuring rapid decision-making and safe execution during critical situations. As a designated Single Point of Contact (SPOC), he provides a clear, accountable, and responsive interface for coordination with clients and stakeholders.

He also possesses strong expertise in dry-docking, refit planning, and lifecycle technical coordination, working closely with shipyards and specialist teams across India and internationally. His practical approach enables early identification of technical risks, optimization of repair scope, and minimization of vessel off-hire, ensuring uninterrupted support for scientific and offshore operations.

Capt. Hercules Andrews Brango is a highly experienced Master Mariner with decades of command experience on both Indian and foreign flag vessels, including chemical tankers, bulk carriers, and offshore vessels. He began his career as a Radio Officer, gaining strong technical foundations before progressing to vessel command, bringing a well-rounded blend of operational and technical expertise.

He has extensive exposure to shipbuilding projects, sea trials, and vessel mobilization/demobilization (MOB/DEMOB), with hands-on involvement in commissioning and operational readiness of vessels. He has successfully commanded complex and high-risk projects, including AUV (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle) qualification missions and IAF debris identification operations, demonstrating strong leadership and decision-making in challenging offshore environments.

Capt. Hercules Brango is actively involved in chartering activities, pre-purchase inspections, and technical evaluations, supporting vessel acquisition and commercial decision-making. He also has significant experience in internal audits, ISM compliance, and safety management systems, ensuring vessels operate in full alignment with international regulatory and safety standards.

His expertise further extends to office setup and operational establishment, contributing to the development of structured marine operations, governance frameworks, and efficient organizational systems. He is known for his strong professional principles, commitment to knowledge sharing, and mentorship, playing an important role in guiding and developing marine personnel.

T. Elango is a seasoned maritime professional with over three decades of distinguished experience in the global shipping industry. Having served extensively as Chief Engineer on VLCCs, product tankers, and DP2 vessels, he brings exceptional expertise in vessel operations, maintenance strategies, and performance optimization.

He has played a key role in complex and high-value projects, including the successful conversion of supply vessels into DP1 vessels, demonstrating strong capabilities in system integration and vessel upgrades. He has also contributed to the technical management of cruise vessels, ensuring high standards of safety, reliability, and operational efficiency.

His shore-based leadership experience includes serving as Technical Director responsible for LSA certification onboard ships, duly approved by DGS India. He has also carried out pre-purchase inspections of vessels, providing critical technical evaluations and risk assessments. In addition, he has served as a Certified Safety Inspector with the Department of Industrial Safety and Health, Government of Tamil Nadu, reinforcing his strong commitment to safety, compliance, and regulatory excellence.
